Sweet Ideas for Valentine's Day!
It's never too early or late to create Valentine ideas, especially on those cold winter afternoons.

Valentine Cookie Packaging

Wrapping for Valentine's Day doesn't require a lot of skill or have to be frilly. Here are a couple simple presentation ideas:

Clear Packaging
Package your Valentine's Day treats in cellophane bags tied or in folded waxed paper, and seal with a cute sticker.

Cookie Boxes
Add a personal touch to standard white or brown paper boxes by placing your cookies in individual cupcake holders and tying them up with ribbon.

Valentine's Chocolate Fondue Recipe

A pot of chocolate fondue on Valentine's Day is the perfect way to get cozy with someone - and kiss winter goodbye.  Here's how to make the chocolate:

Simmer heavy cream and then stir in chopped chocolate over heat. (Opt for the good quality chocolate!)
Ideas you may want to add: espresso powder, spices, herbs or fruit purees. If you are using herbs like mint, you might need to strain them out of the cream, and return the pot to heat before adding the chocolate.

Dipping Ingredients: (Remember to keep them all bite-sized, no bigger than 1-inch squares)

Fruits: sliced bananas, apples, pears, peaches, pineapples, dried fruit, strawberries, cherries, raspberries, blackberries.

Cakes & Sweets: angel food cake, graham crackers, marshmallows, tiny brownies, lady fingers, shortbread.
